Natalie Dormer is making a return to the world of thrillers in new movie In Darkness, starring alongside the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Ed Skrein, and Joely Richardson. Written and directed by Anthony Byrne (Peaky Blinders), the film will see Dormer take on the role of blind pianist Sofia; a woman who overhears a struggle in the apartment above hers, that leads to the death of her neighbour (Ratajkowski). A brilliant trailer for the film has been released this weekend, which you can now check out below:

Pushed out of her depth in one of the toughest challenges in her life, Sofia comes into contact with her neighbour’s father Milos Radic (Jan Bjivoet); a Serbian businessman and alleged war criminal who is accused of committing genocide during the Bosnian war. Now living in London under political asylum, Sofia believes he’s got more secrets to share with the world.

Risking her life and unaware of the people she’s surrounded by, Sofia will search for answers as to why her neighbour’s life was cut short, and is brought into a world of corruption, violence and blackmail. Not only will secrets from her neighbour’s family come into play, but that from Sofia’s own life, as well as a personal agenda.

In Darkness looks to be one of the most intricately layered and detailed thrillers of the year, and we can’t wait to check it out when it finally comes to the big screen!

We’ll bring you more In Darkness news as and when we get it.
