Jennifer Ehle has thrown her support behind the casting of Jamie Dornan in Fifty Shades of Grey saying that he will be an 'amazing' Christian Grey.
Ehle is on board the film and is set to play Anastasia Steele's mother; Anastasia is to be played by Dakota Johnson.
Dornan took over the role of Christian Grey from Charlie Hunnam, after he left earlier this year.
She told E! News: "I didn't follow any of the drama, but I think Jamie will be amazing."
And while Fifty Shades of Grey is one of the biggest and most talked about novels the actress admits that she didn't read the book until after she landed the role. However, she says she is excited to be part of the project.
"It's extraordinary. I'm excited. I feel kind of like a tourist ... I'm along for the ride, as it were."
Fifty Shades of Grey will see Sam Taylor-Johnson return to the director's chair for the first time since she enjoyed success with her debut Nowhere Boy.
Filming is set to get underway before the end of the year and will be hitting cinema screens 1st August 2014.
