Jennifer Lawrence admits that she wanted to burn some of her costumes from The Hunger Games after spending so long wearing them.

Lawrence will reprise the role of Katniss Everdeen this week as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits the big screen.

The Oscar winner gets to wear some one of a kind pieces in the film, but after hours of filming it sees that Lawrence had had enough of wearing them.

She quipped to BANG Showbiz: "I enjoyed some of it ... a lot of the dresses are so lovely and fitted but you're wearing them for like 12 hours a day and after that you want to burn them."

Lawrence was on the red carpet in Los Angeles last night for the premiere of the new film. The actress will also be on the red carpet tonight in New York.

Catching Fire is already one of the most talked about movies of 2013 and it set to be a box office smash when it hits the big screen tomorrow.

The film sees Lawrence team up with director Francis Lawrence for the first time, as he takes over the helm from Gary Ross.

Lawrence will also direct the two Mockingjay instalments, and shooting has got under way.

Mockingjay is the third and final book in Suzanne Collins's trilogy, but it will be split into two films that will be released in 2014 and 2015.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is released 21st November.
