Jennifer Lopez has joined the cast of animation film Home.
The alien comedy is a new project from DreamWorks Animations and is based on the book The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex,
Steve Martin, Rihanna and Jim Parsons are all also sent to lend their voices to the film. Lopez will play the mother of Rihanna's character in the new film.
The movie is set to follow an overly enthusiastic alien race called the Boov, who are determined to take over Earth and relocate the human race to their planet - convinced they're helping them.
Tim Johnson is set to return to the director's chair for the film, which is due out in November of next year.
2013 has already been a successful year for DreamWorks as The Croods was a massive hit for them.
The next DreamWorks project to hit the big screen with come in the form of Turbo; which is one of the big animation projects of the autumn.
