Jude Law is currently in talks to star in new comedy Susan Cooper alongside Melissa McCarthy.
The Wrap have reported that Law looks set to take the lead role in the Paul Feig directed comedy Susan Cooper.
The movie will see Feig return to the director's chair for the first time since the success of The Heat: he has also penned the screenplay.
Feig will also produce the film alongside Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping through their Chernin Entertainment banner with Jessie Henderson.
The action film, which will also star Rose Byrne and Jason Statham, depicts the adventures of an unlikely female spy.
Jude Law will be back on the big screen this week as he joins the ensemble cast of The Grand Budapest Hotel, which is directed by Wes Anderson.
Law has also completed work on adventure/thriller Black Sea: a project which sees him team up with director Kevin Macdonald for the first time.
