Super Bowl Sunday is never complete without its movie trailers, and amongst them was the monstrous second offering from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. You can see the “Big Game” trailer below:

Directed by J.A. Bayona and starring the returning Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the leading roles of Owen and Claire, Fallen Kingdom will see the duo forced to make a return to the island which almost killed them when a dormant volcano begins to stir, four years after the events of the original Jurassic World movie.

Leading a campaign to save the dinosaurs that are still on the island from becoming extinct once more, the two convince the right people that they’re up to the job, returning to the island, but uncovering more of a conspiracy than they ever knew had existed, all whilst discovering that new terrifying breeds of dinosaurs have made their way onto the island whilst they’ve been left to do as they please.

Producers Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow also return for the Jurassic World sequel, with BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprising their roles from the original Jurassic Park movies. James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones and Rafe Spall all also star.

Speaking about his return, Goldblum had previously told Entertainment Weekly that Bayona was a great director: “He was very focused on the serious issues of greed as it oftentimes comes up in those movies, and the marvels of science and reason and the very fascinating point at which our species finds itself both in real life and in this imaginary world too. I’m very interested in that myself, so I’m looking forward to this.”

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes to cinemas across the UK on June 7, 2018 from Universal.
