Kevin Smith is set to return to the director's chair later this year with Tusk, but he already has a spin-off movie in the pipeline.
Tusk will see Smith return to the horror genre in his first film since Red State, but two minor characters in the film are going to get their own movie.
Speaking to Screen Daily, Smith revealed his plans: "Like Tusk, [Yoga-Hosers] sprang out of a podcast," he explained.
"There are two characters in a convenience store in Tusk that you see for five minutes, very much Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.
"I've built a whole movie around them and I have brought one of the other characters from Tusk back."
Yoga Hosers is just one of the film projects that Smith has in the pipeline, as Clerks III and Helena Handbay are also in pre-production.
No official UK release date for Tusk has yet been announced.
