Luke Evans

Luke Evans has revealed that he has no idea what is happening with the remake of The Crow, but says he has a lot of other film projects to work on in 2015.

Evans was set to take over the role of Eric Draven - formerly played by Brandon Lee - but this does seem to be a project that has stalled and Evans seems equally in the dark about whether or not it is going ahead.

And while Evans still seems keen on being involved with The Crow, it does seem like he won't be working on the project any time soon.

Speaking to HitFix, the actor said: "Right now I’m not sure where it is, I don’t know what’s happening with it. I think it’s a question probably to ask [distributor] Relativity.... they’re the ones who are really holding the strings to this story and this character.

"But yeah, I don’t think it’s gonna be something I’m gonna be doing for awhile. I’ve got about four or five different projects which I’m lining up for this year, which will take up the majority of my 12 months. So not in the near future, unfortunately."

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies was the last time that we saw Evans on the big screen and he has enjoyed huge success with the final instalment of Peter Jackson's trilogy.

Evans will be back later this year, as he teams up with director Ben Wheatley for the first time. The movie is based on the novel by J.G. Ballard, while Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, and Sienna Miller are just some of the other names on board.

And Evans is set to reunite with Wheatley as Free Fire is one of the projects that he has in the pipeline and is currently in pre-production. Olivia Wilde and Cillian Murphy has also been linked to the project.
