Mark Ruffalo

Mark Ruffalo says that Now You See Me has many different elements to it and is a mix of genres and ideas.

Ruffalo is part of an all star cast in the Louis Leterrier movie in which he will take on the role of an FBI agent.

The Oscar nominated actor says that the script has elements of social injustice, heist, good/evil and magic.

Speaking to Flicks and Bit’s the actor said:

"I got the script before Occupy Wall Street and that whole movement - which kind of captured the idea of social justice.

“But I think the theme is deeply embedded in contemporary culture and we were able to develop that into a modern Robin Hood tale with magicians stealing from the rich and giving back to the common man."

"It's a classic kind of heist movie, but it has this kind of Robin Hood, illusionist, 'good/bad' guys. It's got a great pulse, in that it moves quickly, it takes you to a lot of different places. There's fight scenes and chases and love scenes and humour and a really great, satisfying twist.”

Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Woody Harrelson and Isla Fisher are also on board for what promises to be one of the not to miss movies of the summer.

Ruffalo has also completed work on Foxcatcher and Can A Song Save Your Life? He is currently filming Infinitely Polar Bear.

Now You See Me is released 3rd July.
