Teller took over the role of Reed Richards when the Fantastic Four were brought back to the big screen last year with Josh Trank in the director's chair.

While the director has assembled an impressive cast, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, and Toby Kebbell starred alongside Teller, the movie was a critical and commercial disappointment.

However, all my not be lost for the franchise as Teller reveals that he would be keen to return and explore the characters and the dynamic between them further.

Speaking to JoBlo, the actor said: "Yeah, for sure. I loved the cast, I loved the characters. I think it's such an interesting dynamic. I love how much they really need to rely on each other.

"This Avengers thing, they've kind of created their own Fantastic Four in a way, Marvel's first family. Their powers can't just exist on their own, you need Thor to do this, the Hulk to do his thing. So yeah, absolutely, I would do another one."

Despite promising much in the early trailers for the film, Fantastic Four struggled critically and at the box-office. It went on to gross $168 million - narrowly making back its $120 million budget.

As for Teller, he have seen his star rocket with roles in the Divergent Series and the critically acclaimed Whiplash.

He is back on the big screen this summer with War Dogs, which sees him work with director Todd Phillips for the first time and star alongside Jonah Hill.

The actor has also completed work on Thank You for Your Service and boxing movie Bleed For This, which sees him star alongside Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal, and Ciaran Hinds.

Teller will take on the real life film of boxer Vinny Pazienza, who made an incredible boxing comeback after a car crash, in which he broke his neck.
