Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair
Finnick Odair is one of the characters that I am excited to see on the big screen this autumn, as he makes his first appearance in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
He is one of the new faces in the second instalment and a driving force in The Hunger Games story going forward.
Sam Claflin will be taking on the role of Finnick in what is his first film since Snow White and the Huntsman.
Finnick is a survivor of the 65th Hunger Games and is one of the tributes that Katniss Everdeen must face in the Quarter Quell; a celebration of the 75th Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will see Jena Malone and Philip Seymour Hoffman join the cast, while Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson are back.
Catching Fire is just one of the projects that Claflin is going to be starring in over the next twelve months, as he continues to make a name for himself.
He has completed work on The Quiet Ones and Love, Rosie; the latter being a big screen adaptation of the Cecelia Ahern novel.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is released 22nd November.
