Nicholas Hoult

Nicholas Hoult says he would love the chance to play James Bond is the opportunity ever arose in the future.

The actor is back on the big screen this week as he plays a zombie in the adaptation of Warm Bodies.

And while he may be a little young for 007 status just yet the actor would relish the chance to step into the franchise later in his career.

Speaking to ShortList the actor said: "I grew up watching James Bond films and loved them, so if that opportunity ever came up in five or ten years I'd love it."

Warm Bodies sees Hoult team up with Teresa Palmer and John Malkovich and it has already topped the U.S. box office.

This film kicks off a busy year for the actor as we are also going to be seeing him star in Jack The Giant Slayer and Mad Max: Fury Road.

He will also be back on set later this year as filming on X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to get underway.

Hoult will reprise the role of Beast in the film alongside James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence.

Warm Bodies is out now.
