Noel Clarke has revealed that he would love a role in one of the upcoming Star Wars films.
Clarke has worked with J.J. Abrams on Star Trek and is hoping that he will get the chance to land a role in one of the handful of Star Wars movies that are on the horizon.
Speaking to the Press Association, the actor said: "I know that they've got three main films happening over the next five or six years and they have one spin-off film in between each one, so I've got five chances to get in one, that's all I'm concerned about.
"I want to be in one at some point, and so if I can do that I'll be happy. I'll be a grandad by that time, but if I can get in one I'll be chuffed!"
Filming on Star Wars: Episode VII is well under way, and is set to be one of the most anticipated films of 2015.
As for Clarke, he returned to the big screen earlier this month with new film Anomaly: which is a film that he also directed.
The Anomaly is the third directorial outing for Clarke, after the release of Adulthood and 4.3.2.1. in recent years.
