From Ildikó Enyedi comes new film On Body And Soul, the recipient of the Golden Bear at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and the newly-announced Oscars entry on behalf of Hungary’s Foreign Language category. Check out a great new trailer for the movie below:
Following the story of two introverts that both work in a meat processing plant, the film sees a world-weary financial director and a strict quality controller by chance discover that each night, they share the same dream. Puzzled, intrigued and a little frightened, they slowly begin to accept the coincidence, before making attempts in their real life to recreate what happens in their shared consciousness at night.
With a run-time of just under two hours, On Body And Soul looks like it could be one of the biggest surprise hits of the year so far.
On Body And Soul officially hits cinemas across the UK on Friday, September 22.
