Paul Walker says that an eighth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise is guaranteed.
The actor is currently working on the seventh film where he will be reprising the role of Brian O'Connor.
The film will be hitting the big screen next year and will come a year after the success of Fast & Furious 6; which is one of the biggest films of 2013.
Speaking to Collider the actor said: "Well, the studio supposedly wants 8, 9 and 10. I’ll be 50. Even if 7 were to [tank], there’s at least an 8. That’s a guarantee.
"The thing that’s pretty crazy is that neither Vin nor I were going back to do the third one. They were going to do a direct-to-video 4. They were going to dispose it and be done with it.
"But then, Vin was like, 'No, I’ll come in for a cameo,' because it wasn’t testing well. He wanted to set up the fourth one and the studio went for it, and we got a second life. It was supposed to be done already."
Walker will be joined on the cast list by Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jordana Brewster. But there are a couple of new faces to watch out for as Jason Statham and Djimon Hounsou join the franchise.
It is also all change in the director's chair as James Wan takes over from Justin Lin.
Fast & Furious 7 is released 25th July 2014.
