Liam Neeson can't seem to get enough of the action roles as he will be back in the spring with new film Run All Night - and we have a couple of great new images to share with you.

Run All Night

Run All Night

Neeson may be currently enjoying box office success in the U.S. and UK with Taken 3, but Run All Night will see him reunite with director Jaume Collet-Serra. Run All Night will be the third time that the actor and director will have worked together after the success of Non-Stop and Unknown in recent years.

Neeson is set to take on the central role of Jimmy Conlon, who is forced to take action to protect his estranged son from mob boss and best friend. Neeson is joined on the cast list by Joel Kinnaman, Ed Harris, Vincent D'Onofrio, Genesis Rodriguez, Boyd Holbrook, and Common.

Brooklyn mobster and prolific hit man Jimmy Conlon (Neeson), once known as The Gravedigger, has seen better days. Longtime best friend of mob boss Shawn Maguire (Harris), Jimmy, now 55, is haunted by the sins of his past-as well as a dogged police detective (D'Onofrio) who's been one step behind Jimmy for 30 years. Lately, it seems Jimmy's only solace can be found at the bottom of a whiskey glass.

But when Jimmy's estranged son, Mike (Kinnaman), becomes a target, Jimmy must make a choice between the crime family he chose and the real family he abandoned long ago. With Mike on the run, Jimmy's only penance for his past mistakes may be to keep his son from the same fate Jimmy is certain he'll face himself…at the wrong end of a gun. Now, with nowhere safe to turn, Jimmy just has one night to figure out exactly where his loyalties lie and to see if he can finally make things right.

Neeson really has become a major action hero with roles in the likes of Taken, Unknown, and A Walk Among The Tombstones and I am excited to see him back in action with Run All Night.

Run All Night is released 1st May.
