Sam Claflin has revealed that he would love to play a villain in a comic book movie.
Claflin says that he is a big fan of the comic book movies that have hit the big screen in recent years, and would the chance to be part of one.
Speaking to Collider, the actor said: "It's definitely something that interests me, I mean I love those movies and I am constantly surprised by them, they could have gone down the cheesy route, but they have been reinvented and are just genius.
"I mean what Christopher Nolan has done with the [Batman] is incredible.
"What I've enjoyed most recently is being a villain in this black comedy film 'Posh', and it's something I really enjoyed playing on the darker side of life, so having the opportunity to play a villain would be pretty epic."
Claflin has a very busy year ahead of his with the likes of Posh, Love Rosie and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 all hitting the big screen.
Mockingjay - Part 1 will see him return to the role of Finnick Odair: we were introduced to the character for the first time last year in Catching Fire.
Love, Rosie also sees him turn his hand to rom-com as the Cecelia Ahern novel of the same name has been given the big screen treatment.
