Richard Mason and Tom Blyth star in the titular roles of upcoming new movie release Scott And Sid, based on the real-life experiences of ‘Dreamchasers’ Scott Elliott and Sid Sadowsky, who wrote, directed and produced the inspirational film. You can check out a gorgeous new trailer and poster for the upcoming release below:

When Scott transfers to Sid’s school during their teen years, the pair each have their troubles at home. Sid is withdrawn and awkward; the son of an alcoholic mother and a father who’s never around, but somebody who’s dedicated to getting through his years of education and escaping to carve out his own path.

Scott meanwhile is a foster child without love, who’s been expelled from a number of schools and whose whole life has seen him never nailed down, but instead always on the move.

Both without encouragement from the very people who should be helping them get through some of the most difficult years in anybody’s lives, they find friendship in one another that allows them to discover an ultimate and more important list of ambitions.

Writing down their goals and pursuing each of them in the bid for a better life, Scott and Sid find inspiration in one another, becoming ‘Dreamchasers’ and doing their all to get ahead. Fuelled by ambition, they find themselves launching two hugely successful businesses whilst still in school, and by the time they reach their late teens, they’ll not only be working to maintain a healthy working life, but to keep themselves out of danger when dealing with gangsters and loan sharks.

Alongside Blyth and Mason, David Summer, Llila Vis, Maggie Daniels, Charlotte Milchard, Juliet Howland, Paul Lacoux and Ranj Nagra also star.

Scott And Sid comes to cinemas across the UK on March 9, 2018. The film will then reach digital download and DVD on March 12, 2018.
