Universal Pictures UK have this week released a brilliant new poster ahead of the release of Skyscraper this summer, showing the brilliant Dwayne Johnson in his role of Will Ford, holding on for dear life, but still taking a second to smoulder as he looks down the camera, panic in his eyes. You can check out the new poster below:

Johnson stars alongside the likes of Pablo Schreiber, Neve Campbell, Noah Taylor, Kevin Rankin, Roland Møller, and Byron Mann in the film, which is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia produce alongside Johnson and Thurber, with Dany Garcia, Wendy Jacobson, Eric Hedayat and Eric McLeod all working as executive producers.

Johnson’s character – a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and US war veteran – is now working as a security assessor for skyscrapers. Working in China, he finds the safest and tallest building in the world suddenly on fire, with his face right in the frame for the crime. Now on the run, he must work against time and his better judgements to rescue his family trapped inside the building, and clear his own name, whilst figuring out exactly who had set the building on fire, and why.

It all sounds like a hugely dramatic affair, and it should be great to see Johnson right back at the centre of another high-stakes action flick.

Skyscraper comes to cinemas across the UK on Friday, July 13, 2018.
