The cast for Star Wars: Episode VII has finally been revealed.
John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will all take on major roles in the film.
They will star alongside original trilogy actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
In a statement posted on StarWars.com, J.J. Abrams said: "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
"It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again.
"We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."
Oscar Isaac was the latest actor to be linked to the franchise this week, and that has turned out to be true.
Despite all the speculation as to who was going to star, it seems that Andy Serkis did fall below the radar and has come as a surprise.
Abrams will direct the film, while Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy and Bryan Burk will produce.
Star Wars: Episode VII is already one of the most anticipated films of next year, and will be released 18th December 2015.
