We still have a long time to wait before Suicide Squad hits the big screen but it is already one of the most anticipated comic book movies of 2016.
David Ayer is set to return to the director's chair for the film, which will be his first directorial outing since Fury and the first time that he has tackled a comic book movie.
Ayer has assembled a terrific cast for Suicide Squad and I cannot wait to see Margo Robbie in action as Harley Quinn... and we have got a closer look at her character this week as Ayer posted some great new images on Twitter.
Robbie has been making a real name for herself over the last couple of years, with roles in the likes of The Wolf of Wall Street and Focus hitting the big screen but Suicide Squad could well be the film that sends her star rocketing.
Robbie is joined on the cast list by Will Smith - who she worked with on Focus - Jai Courtney, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, and Cara Delevingne. We also know that Ben Affleck will be reprising the role of Batman in the movie.
The movie will follow a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.
Filming is still underway on Suicide Squad and we have just under a year before the film is finally released - it already looks set to be one of the biggest movies of summer 2016.
Suicide Squad is released 5th August 2016.
