However, she left a legacy of terrific film and touched a fanbase around the world. Now she is coming to the big screen in brand new documentary film Amy.
Amy sees Asif Kapadia back in the director's chair for his first documentary film since the huge success of Senna back in 2010.

Her huge success, however, resulted in relentless and invasive media attention which coupled with Amy's troubled relationships and precarious lifestyle saw her life tragically begin to unravel.
