If horror movies are your think then The Gallows is one not to miss next weekend as it is promising to be a rather creepy ride.

The Gallows

The Gallows

We have yet to be treated to a really good horror movie so far this year, but indie movie The Gallows is hoping to buck that trend when it is released on Friday.

We have a brand new clip for you to take a look at:

The Gallows sees Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing and reunite in the director's chair - however, this is the first time that they have tackled a feature film together. They first teamed up back in 2011 for short film Kid HULK and Lofing went on to edit Cluff's feature film directorial debut.

Cluff made that debut back in 2012 with Gold Fools and this is his first feature since that debut. The Gallows will be Lofing's first feature film as director.

As well as being in the director's chair the duo have also penned the screenplay, while Cassidy Gifford, Ryan Shoos, Reese Mishler and Pfeifer Brown will all star.

Twenty years after an accident caused the death of the lead actor during a high school play, students at the same small town school resurrect the failed stage production in a misguided attempt to honour the anniversary of the tragedy - but ultimately find out that some things are better left alone.

The Gallows is released 17th July.
