The brand new reboot of The Mummy – starring Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe – will hit cinemas later this year, and now a brand new trailer for the flick has been released, showcasing some of the epic action that will be on the big screen in June.

Written by Jon Spaihts and Christopher McQuarrie, with Alex Kurtzman in the Director’s Chair, this new cinematic release will continue to fascinate viewers across the globe with an all-new story.

A synopsis reads: “Thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess (Sofia Boutella) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

“From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.”

Providing the best look yet at the reimagined female monster, The Mummy looks to be one of the most exciting thrill rides of this year. We can’t wait to see what the movie has to offer when it’s available in all its glory.

The Mummy is released in cinemas across the UK on Friday, June 9, 2017.
