The character of Frank Martin is set to return to the big screen this September as Ed Skrein takes over the role in The Transporter Refuelled.

The Transporter Refuelled

Skrein takes over the role of Frank from Jason Statham - who played him in three movies in 2002, 2005, and 2008 - and now the franchise is back and it is promising to be as action packed as ever.

Over the last few years, Ed Skrein has been making a name for himself with film roles in Ill Manors, The Sweeney, and Sword of Vengeance, as well as TV work in The Tunnel and Game of Thrones. However, The Transporter Refuelled is set to be the biggest role of his career to date.

I am looking forward to seeing Skrein take over the role and make it his own and he features in some great new images from the film:

Skrein is joined on the cast list by Loan Chabanol, Ray Stevenson, Radivoje Bukvic, and Anatole Tubman, while Camille Delamarre is in the director's chair.

The Transporter Refuelled is the first time that we have seen Delamarre at the helm of this franchise and is his first film since he made his feature film debut with Brick Mansions last year.

Frank Martin (Skrein) is The Transporter; the best driver and mercenary money can buy. Frank will deliver anything for a price and abides by 3 simple rules: never change the deal, no names, never open the package...

The Transporter Refuelled is released 4th September.
