Thor: The Dark World
Thor: The Dark World is set to be one of the biggest movies of the year and two new images for the film have been released.
The movie is the second stand alone film for this character and will see Chris Hemsworth return to the title role.
USA Today have released two new images from the movie; one showing Thor in battle while the other shows him with Jane Foster - played by Natalie Portman.
Hemsworth and Portman are not the only familiar faces on the cast list as Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston are just some of the other actors reprising roles from the first film.
But there is one major new addition to the cast list and that is Christopher Eccleston as he take on the role of Malekith.
However Kenneth Branagh will not be returning to the director's chair for the sequel and this time around Alan Taylor is at the helm.
The movie follows on from events of Avengers Assemble and will see Thor do battle with an ancient race of Elves led by Malekith.
Thor: The Dark World is released 30th October.
