Tilda Swinton has revealed that she is a big Marvel fan and is excited to be joining the universe in Doctor Strange.

The Oscar winning actress is set to play The Ancient One in the upcoming Doctor Strange and is the latest high profile star to join the Marvel franchise.
And Swinton admits that the premise of the film, the character, and the world in which it is set was a major draw for her.
Speaking to Screen Crush, Swinton said: "I just really liked the premise of this and the idea of playing this character. I'm a Marvel fan and I think this particular world that 'Doctor Strange' goes into is really, really, really exciting.
"I'm really interested as both an actor and a fan to see what's done in this particular world. It's all about creativity. It's not about everything exploding at the end. It's about something very different."
And Swinton went on to suggest that she has signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel but doesn't know where she may pop up in the future.
She continued: "It's like a family thing. Who knows where one might pop up. I don't know where they'll use me and I don't know that they know, necessarily, even though they seem to know what they're doing for the next decade. I think it's like holding onto the tail of a galloping horse at this point."
Filming on Doctor Strange is set to get underway in the autumn and will see Swinton team up with Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor - who will play Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo.
Earlier this month Rachel McAdams was rumoured to be taking on another major female role in the film, however, those rumours are yet to be confirmed by the studio.
The movie will also see Scott Derrickson back in the director's chair as he helms a Marvel movie for the first time.
As for Swinton, she has already completed work on Trainwreck, A Bigger Splash, and Hail, Caesar! The latter will see her team up with Joel and Ethan Coen, while George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Ralph Fiennes, Scarlett Johansson, and Channing Tatum are all on the cast list.
Doctor Strange is released 28th October 2016.
