Tom Hiddleston says that he and Chris Hemsworth have gone on an ‘amazing adventure’ with the roles of Loki and Thor.
Hiddleston is back as Loki next week in Thor: The Dark World, a movie that sees him reunite with his on-screen brother Hemsworth for their third film together.
And the British actor says that there is a trust that has been built between them during the time that they have been working together.
Speaking at the global press conference for the film the actor said: “From the beginning of Kenneth Branagh’s Thor, through Joss Whedon’s Avengers and into Alan Taylor’s The Dark World, it has been an amazing adventure for all of us. The two character define each other and need each other.
“All acting is about what happens in the space between people and the more you trust each other the deeper you can go. When I am on set with Chris, whatever he serve I return and he serves it back: that is the joy of it for me.”
Thor: The Dark World is one of the most anticipated movies of the autumn and is the first time that we have seen Hiddleston and Hemsworth take on the roles of Loki and Thor since the success of Avengers Assemble last summer.
And we are going to be seeing plenty of Hiddleston on the big screen over the coming months as Only Lovers Left Alive is another project that is on the horizon: the movie was screened at the BFI London Film Festival over the weekend and saw the actor walk the red carpet.
He has also completed work on Muppets Most Wanted and lent his voice to The Pirate Fairy.
Thor: The Dark World is released 30th October.
