Race

Race sees Stephan James play Owens in what is one of the biggest roles of his acting career to date. The movie also sees him team up with filmmaker Stephen Hopkins.

This is the first feature film for Hopkins since Thorne: Sleepyhead back in 2010 - he has been working in television with the likes of Californication and House of Lies under his belt.

The movie opens in UK cinemas tomorrow and we have some great new clips for you to take a look at:

While James is no stranger to the big screen with the likes of Selma and What the Game Stands Tall under his belt, he is an actor who is starting to make a name for himself.

And James is joined by a terrific supporting cast as Jason Sudeikis, Eli Goree, Jeremy Irons, William Hurt, Shanice Banton, and Carice van Houten are all also on board.

In 1936 the Olympic Games were held in Berlin, Germany. Organised by the ruling Nazi-Party, the games were intended to showcase Hitler's vision of the supremacy of the Aryan race. That Nazi dream was shattered by a black American athlete named Jesse Owens.

Race is based on the incredible true story of Jesse Owens, a man that the New York Times called 'the greatest and most famous athlete in track and field history'. Race is an enthralling film about courage, determination, friendship and an inspiring drama about one man's fight to become an Olympic legend.

Race is released 3rd June.
