Zack Snyder has been confirmed as the director for the upcoming Justice League film.
Synder helmed Man of Steel last summer and will return to the director's chair for the highly anticipated Batman vs Superman.
The sequel to Man of Steel, will introduce us to Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
Greg Silverman, Warner Bros president of worldwide production, announced the film in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
He said: "It will be a further expansion of this universe. Superman vs Batman will lead into Justice League."
The characters that will appear in the film, is still being kept under wraps, but work has begun on the screenplay.
Batman vs Superman is set to be released in May 2016 - it will go up against Captain America 3 the same weekend - but no release date for the Justice League has been announced.
