It was back in 2002 when My Big Fat Greek Wedding hit the big screen for the first now, well over a decade later, the much desired sequel is finally here.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is set to be one of the comedy movies not to be missed in 2016 and it is a film that I already cannot wait to see - the first one was so much fun and it looks like the sequel has also managed to capture that.

This time around, Kirk Jones has taken over the director's chair in what is his first feature film since What to Expect When You're Expecting back in 2012.
As well as reprising the role of Toula, Nia Vardalos is also back on writing duties having penned the screenplay once again.
And Vardalos leads a terrific cast list as John Corbett, Lainie Kazan, Gia Carides, Joey Fatone, Elena Kampouris, Alex Wolff, Louis Mandylor, Bess Meisler, Bruce Gray, Fiona Reid, Ian Gomez, Jayne Eastwood, Mark Margolis, Andrea Martin, and Michael Constantine are all also set to star.
This time around, the film reveals a Portokalos family secret that will bring the beloved characters back together for an even bigger and Greeker wedding.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding was both a critical and commercial hit back in 2012 and this sequel looking like it is going to be just as funny, just as fun, and just as successful.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is released 25th March 2016.
