Whether it be on the big screen or hosting awards shows, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have proved that they are one hell of a team... and they are set to return next year with new comedy Sisters.

Sisters

I know that March is quite a way away - although, with the speed at which this year is flying by it will be her before you know it - but the brand new trailer for Sisters has arrived.

The movie marks the return of Jason Moore to the director's chair in what will be his first feature film since the huge success of Pitch Perfect back in 2012. Paula Pell, who has written for 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live, is also aboard the film having penned the screenplay.

Fey and Poehler have previous worked on the likes of Mean Girls and Baby Mama together and is great to see them sharing the screen once more as they play sisters Maura and Jane, who have drifted apart.

A terrific cast has been assembled for the film, as Fey and Poehler are joined by John Leguizamo, John Cena, Maya Rudolph, and Kate McKinnon.

Fey and Poehler reunite for Sisters, a new film from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore about two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house.

Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.

I don't know about you but I am a huge fan of Fey and Poehler - they have been terrific at the Golden Globes over the last couple of years - and I really cannot wait to see them in a comedy once again. Sister is already promising to be one of the early comedy movies of 2016 not to miss.

Sisters is released 11th March 2016.
