The Counsellor

The Counsellor

Michael Fassbender is a bit of a favourite here at FemaleFirst, and we are going to be seeing plenty of him starting with The Counsellor.

The Counsellor sees him reunite with director Ridley Scott, and this movie kicks off a very busy period of the Irish actor.

The Counsellor is set to be a thrilling crime drama that sees Fassbender lead an all star cast. And we have another fantastic clip to share with you:

There are some great ensemble movie casts coming out way at the back end of this year; The Counsellor being just one of them.

Fassbender is joined by Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem; I told you it was impressive.

But the cast is not the only reason to get excited about this movie as Cormac McCarthy has penned the screenplay.

We have seen McCarthy's novels such as No Country For Old Men and The Road hit the big screen, but this is the first time that he has penned a screenplay.

Of course, Ridley Scott is in the director's chair for the first time since the success of Prometheus last summer.

The film tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender), who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.

If you are looking for a crime thriller to get your teeth into this autumn, then The Counsellor is the film for you.

The Counsellor is released 15th November.
