August may have only just got underway, but we are already looking ahead to some of the standout films of the autumn... and Storks is set to be one of the animated films that you cannot afford to miss.

Storks

Storks

2016 has been another wonderful year for the animation genre and Storks is set to continue that tradition as Nicholas Stoller and Doug Sweetland take up the director's chair.

This is the first film for Stoller since Bad Neighbours 2 earlier this year and it is also his debut animation feature film project. Sweetland is making his directorial debut but is no stranger to the animation genre having worked as an animator on the likes of Toy Story and Finding Nemo. As well as being in the director's chair, Stoller has also penned the film's screenplay.

Storks looks set to be a film that's a lot of fun as well as exploring the theme of family - this movie really is promising to pull at the heart strings.

The brand new trailer has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:

Andy Samberg will take on the central role of Junior and is joined on the cast list by Kelsey Grammer, Katie Crown, Keegan-Michael Key, Jennifer Aniston, Ty Burrell, and Danny Trejo - it really is another very impressive voice cast.

Storks deliver babies... or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore.com. Junior, the company's top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorised baby girl.

Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop - in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks' true mission in the world.

We have seen a whole host of animated films hit the big screen this year and enjoy huge box office success. Storks is set to be one of the animated films not to miss this October and it looks like it is going to be another animation gem.

Storks is released 14th October.
