Dog Is Dead - 'Your Childhood'

Release Four Track Ep ‘Your Childhood’Out Now! Tour Dates – May/June/July/August

Having already played several shows this year, Dog Is Dead really begin their 2011 journey with the release of a four track EP entitled ‘Your Childhood’. This will be released digitally on 9 May and physically on 16 May through the bands own label, Your Childhood Records.

In the last two years, Nottingham’s Dog Is Dead have captivated fans around the country, building up a dedicated following with every live show that they play. 2010 saw them really start to shine when they released the Your Childhood singles trilogy online, the first of which ‘Glockenspiel Song’ came out in June. From this, the buzz around the band and acclaim they received has just continuously built. The new EP features four choices from the trilogy.

They have proven themselves, and quite rightly, to be one of the most compelling live bands around and the next four months will see them tour relentlessly around the country showcasing exactly why they are one of the most talked about bands around.

Taking the UK by storm will be no difficult feat for these five, having already made quite an impression across radio and press. This is a band that isn’t afraid of hard work and with songs like these it’s easy to see why they want to get out there and show it to the world. 2011 is set to be a life-changing year for this exciting home-grown band.
