Airbourne

Rowdy Aussie rogues Airbourne reluctantly have to announce that their intended February UK headline tour has been delayed due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.

Originally at the start of a full European tour, the UK dates will move to the end, and kick off in the UK instead now from March 29. All tickets bought for the original No Guts, No Glory dates remain valid and the band will still be performing in all previously announced towns.

Bound to be boisterous, the full list of dates is as follows:

Mon 29 Mar - Portsmouth Guildhalll
Tue 30 Mar - Bristol Colston Hall
Thu 1 Apr - London Hammersmith Apollo
Fri 2 Apr - Liverpool O2 Academy
Sat 3 Apr - Manchester Apollo
Mon 5 Apr - Edinburgh Picture House
Tue 6 Apr - Glasgow O2 Academy
Wed 7 Apr - Leeds O2 Academy
Thu 8 Apr - Newcastle O2 Academy
Sat 10 Apr - Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Sun 11 Apr - Nottingham Rock City
Tue 13 Apr – Belfast Mandela Hall
Wed 14 Apr – Dublin Academy

The band’s second album No Guts, No Glory is due for release on February 22. It was written in a disused Antipodean pub that the band all used to work in and had their first gig at.

Recording took place in Chicago with Johnny K at the production helm and the result is currently being mixed by Mike Fraser at Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. When asked what the record is about, Joel O’Keefe, the band’s gregarious frontman, laughs. “It’s about rock ‘n’ roll, women, fighting, and drinking!”
