Blur - Back To Their Best
Graham Coxon will join Alex James, Dave Rowntree and Damon Albarn onstage for this first time since their Royal Festival Hall performance in 2000.
Formed in Colchester in 1989, Blur have recorded seven studio albums and had a string of Top 10 singles including number 1 hit’s with Country House and Beetlebum. Their last album, Think Tank was released in 2003.
You know what this means too… the boys will be back in time for Glastonbury 2009! Woo! In the days since Blur topped the charts, Damon’s been off dressing up as a gorrila with his side project, Gorillaz.
Graham’s been doing ace solo stuff, Dave’s been dabbling in politics and Alex has swanned off to mess about with cheese. Damon and Graham had a bit of a falling out a few years ago, but have now kissed and made up and are now back to what they do best. Thanks God for that.
Their returning concert will take place at London’s Hyde Park on Friday 3rd July 2009. Tickets will be on general sale from 9am Friday 12th December 2008 from LiveNation.
All tickets are £45.00, are limited to six per person, and subject to a booking fee. Promoters recommend fans purchase tickets from official outlets only.
