Chimaira
Chimaira have been forced to cancel an upcoming U.K. tour because a band member is suffering a mystery "acute illness".
The Cleveland, Ohio-based group was due to jet overseas and kick off their U.K. tour in Bristol on 30 September, but a statement reveals one bandmate is too sick to travel.
As a result, the band has cancelled a two-and-a-half week tour, which was to include a sold out date in Dublin on 3 October.
The statement reads: "Due to an acute illness, we must cancel our upcoming U.K. tour. The band was really looking forward to the shows... Alas, health comes first, as it should for us all."
No further information regarding the illness, was available as we went to press.
