The Computers consist of Alex (guitar / main vocals), Sonny (guitar / vocals), Nic (bass / vocals) and Will (drums). They live in Exeter and they fuse garage rock'n'roll with 80's hardcore. Think Black Flag playing Chuck Berry or The Nerve Agents covering Elvis Costello and you're getting the picture.

In the last year The Computers have toured France, Germany, Poland and extensively in UK. They have shared stages with the likes of Rival Schools, The Loved Ones, Gay For Johnny Depp, Hundred Reasons, In Case Of Fire and Fightstar, picking up rave reviews and features in Kerrang, Rock Sound, Big Cheese and the NME along the hectic way.

Their debut single 'Track Four' has been a regular feature of Mike Davies and Daniel P Carter's BBC shows and led to the band recording a Radio 1 session earlier this year.

Now comes the release of a mini album on fierce panda. Produced by Larry Hibbitt (Hundred Reasons),'You Can't Hide From The Computers' sees the foursome pile through seven songs in a nerve-shredding punk rocking eighteen minutes with a style and an aplomb which will undoubtedly nail The Computers at the top of the rock-tastic Best New Band lists into 2009.

It's not just all about the barnstorming tuneage, either: never seen out of their uniforms, The Computers take their style cues from Nation Of Ulysses, The Hives and Rocket >From The Crypt. But don't just take out word for it: "Exeter's new kids The Computers are superb.

The punk rock four piece, resplendent in red and white matching outfits, slam onto the stage with a snotty attitude and great gritty tunes with a jangly edge. The Bronx meeting The Hives in a '50s diner sharing a tasty shake with Rocket >From The Crypt. Expect big things!" Kerrang!
