James Bond: Quantum of Solace is out today and as we all know, Bond wouldn't be complete without a classic theme song behind him.
Every artist who has graced us with their tuneful Bond offerings have always been the âman of the momentâ and gone on to achieve great things; regardless of the actual quality of the song.
With this in mind, FemaleFirst have come up with five musicians we think would do a sound job at belting out Bond delights;
Liam Gallagher and co have been causing a storm recently with their wonderful new album Dig Out Your Soul.
Whatâs more, just like James Bond, they donât shy away from confrontations as we saw back in the 1990âs when it all kicked off between them and the boys in Blur.
Noel Gallagher has also been mouthing off again about the whole Russell Brand VS the BBC situation: what James Bond does with his gun these guys can do just as well with their Manchurian voices!
James Bond loves his divaâs and there is no denying that Leona Lewis is up there with the best of them.
With a voice so powerful it could shatter diamonds (which clearly arenât forever!) we think Leona would be incredible at picking off where Shirley Bassey left off.
Not only does she have the voice but she also has the looks to go with it and I could see her making a cameo role to go with her anthem, just as the Queen of pop Madonna did.
Coldplay might not have the charisma you find oozing out of James pores, in fact they donât really have that much about them in general; apart from some fantastic music under their belts.
One of the finest bands to come out this decade Chris Martin wonât stand anyone hurting those he loves; much like our James - he stormed out of an interview after the journalist asked about Gwyneth.
But that aside, with Chrisâ delicious vocals and his wifey Gwyneth Paltrowâs acting skills on the table, we see a whole James Bond theme/girl collaboration on the table!
Girls Aloudâs Cheryl Cole seems to be everywhere at the moment so itâs no surprise they made it into our chart.
Okay, so they might not have the best voices around at the moment but that didnât stop Jack White having a go did it? (ouch!)
Anyway, their new single Promises has shown a far more mature side to the girls - and those Gold dresses make them the picture of your idea Bond Girl.
We had to put old Wine-O in as itâs a crying shame that she didnât record this yearâs theme with her pal Mark Ronson.
I know sheâs had a bad rap over the last few months, and I must admit that Alicia Keys does have a cracking voice; itâs just a shame she doesnât show it off on the new theme.
Amy can pull off a âbigâ song as good as the best of them, and as Alicia failed to utilise her vocal skills on this filmâs theme I just hope Amy can show off hers next time around.
