Diversity have come a long way. After their meteoric rise from Dagenham based dancers to the national treasures they have now officially reached superstar status. The ensemble were choppered in and choppered out of the Wireless festival sponsored by Barclaycard.
In the scarce few minutes on the ground between helicopter the managed to not only wow a crowd of thousands of fans but also to be courted by world famous photography supermo Rankin for an impromptu shoot in his pop up studio in the Barclaycard Unwind lounge.
The diminutive dance ensemble went toe-to-toe with muscle bound hip-hop star Flo Rider in a confrontation over who was next in line to be photographed by Rankin – luckily their helicopter was on standby for a quick getaway...
Kanye West was almost mobbed by Sugababes, past and present during his after-party performance at the Wireless Festival sponsored by Barclaycard. The RnB superstar had no VIP area and was mobbed during a duet with Mr Hudson on a baby grand piano. Sugababes Amelie, Keisha and former Sugababe Mutya jostled with other guests to get a glimpse of the US singer during the exclusive after party at Paramount bar.
Prince Harry was in better cheer than his rowdy posse at the Wireless festival this weekend. Harry, who was hanging out the Barclaycard Unwind lounge happily chatted to photographers about posing for pictures before his pals and minders put paid to any attempts to secure snaps of the flame haired royal.
A stand-off ensued when his undercover henchmen blocked photographers and stood in the way of a barrage of flashbulbs. Worn down by the attempts of one particularly persistent snapper, the royal minders eventually nodded to the pap and stepped aside for a few moments to let the pap do his job before they both went their separate ways
Kanye’s duet with Mr Hudson wasn’t the only racket present at the after party of the Wireless festival sponsored by Barclaycard. He stuck close to for new pals the Williams sisters for much of the evening. The tennis superstar sisters are reported to be planning to give him tennis lessons
