Amazon UK have revealed a sales snapshot of their albums on the British landscape, revealing which artist releases from this year have done the best and sold the most so far.

Winning for the moment is Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds with latest record 'Chasing Yesterday', and despite only releasing his debut record last month, James Bay is racing his way up the top 10.

Bob Dylan appears at number two with 'Shadows in the Night', ahead of Queen of Pop Madonna at number three with 'Rebel Heart', and Meghan Trainor and Mark Ronson sitting at spots four and five respectively.

Completing the list alongside Bay are Mark Knopfller, Led Zeppelin, Fall Out Boy and Imagine Dragons.

The top-selling 2015 releases as of April 9 so far this year on Amazon UK are as follows:

  10. Imagine Dragons - 'Smoke + Mirrors'

Steve Bernstein, Director of Amazon EU Digital Music commented: "From Madonna through to Led Zeppelin, 2015 has already seen some high profile album launches.

"With the likes of Blur, Muse and Mumford and Sons set to release albums in the coming months we're heading into a great summer for music lovers, competition for 2015's biggest album is only set to intensify."

Amazon's biggest-selling album of 2014 was Ed Sheeran's 'X'.
