Sam Smith is back with the music video for his latest single 'Lay Me Down', released later this year through Capitol Records.

Ahead of his performance at the Grammy Awards, the video was filmed in a South-East London church all in one continuous take with absolutely no editing involved.

Directed by Ryan Hope, the film opens with Sam at the head of a church for a funeral service, and the camera pans to the back of the church as the corus approaches, with the setting turning into a wedding where Sam is getting married, before closing as Sam sits, along in the empty pews with nothing but his voice for company.

As one of the fastest-selling British debut artists of all time, Sam has gone from newcomer to international superstar within the past 18 months, shooting into the hearts of people all over the world with his impressive vocal range, earning him an array of awards and nominations for future ceremonies.

Leading the pack at the 2015 BRIT Awards as well as the Grammys, Sam moves from strength to strength and will continue his successful run of live shows across North America before returning to the UK this coming March for another sold-out tour.

'Lay Me Down' is officially released as Sam's new single on March 15.
