GLAD had this to say in response to his outburst."No fair-minded person can look at Ja Rule's interview with Complex magazine and believe for one second that his children could be more harmed by what they might see on television than by the vulgarity and prejudice that comes out of their father's mouth. Now that media have seen Ja Rule's intolerance unmasked by his own words, they have a responsibility not to provide in the future a platform for his ugly, vulgar displays of prejudice."
50 Cent and Lil Kim sued over Magic Stick
The man behind the beat for Magic Stick, the track featuring Lil Kim and 50 Cent which featured on Lil Kims Bella Mafia album in 2003 is suing the artists and their labels for failure to pay royalties to Carlos "Phantom of the Beats" Evans after the song went onto amass sales of over 2 million.

Representatives for 50 Cent have stated that the reason royalties were not paid out was due to a sample in the track that permission had to be granted for. He also assured that Evans will receive any royalties owed to him once Atlantic who released the album iron out the issues with the sample.
