Alex James of Blur fame and mega star Jimmy Osmond look set to re-train their vocal chords to become opera singers for a new U.K. reality show.
Rocker James and the veteran pop star, who shot to fame aged nine with his Long-Haired Lover From Liverpool hit, are currently in rehearsals for Popstar To Operastar, which debuts on TV in Britain later this month.
The pair will be joined by McFly singer Danny Jones, among others. The contestants are being mentored by Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins.
The eight celebrities taking part will battle it out for the public's vote, and the winner will be crowned in February.
