Pete Doherty

Pete Doherty has had yet another run in with the law, this time after he was caught driving dangerously after a gig last week.

The star didn’t spend long in the slammer though, as he quickly coughed up his £50,000 bail amount whilst he awaits trial.

Police were forced to stop a car they saw being driven erratically in Gloucester on the early hours of the morning, and the 30 year old indie boy has appeared at Stroud Magistrates' Court and pleaded guilty to possessing heroin and to having no licence or insurance.

So, confirming what we all assumed, .02oz (0.6g) of heroin, worth £35, was found in his vehicle and 15 wraps of the drug, worth £300, were later discovered in a search of his home near Marlborough, Wiltshire. Oh Pete, we were all hoping so much that you’d turned over a new leaf!

Bizarrely though, he pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving and is due to stand trial in court in August, until then though, he has been given several bail conditions, including a 17pm curfew, except when gigging and he is forbidden from travelling in the front seat of any car and must have a medical implant fitted to prevent further drug abuse.
