Rivers Cuomo Is Writing A Book

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo is set to give fans a glimpse into the band's recording process by releasing a book about the making of their 1996 album Pinkerton.

The singer has put together The Pinkerton Diaries which documents his life between 1994 and 1997 as the band wrote, recorded and released the popular disc.

Cuomo insists the tome will give devotees "an inside look as to exactly what I was thinking".

He tells Spin, "(It's) a collection of all my journals, emails, letters, photos, school papers, everything from those years '94-'97."

The book is due for release next month.
