O GRANDFATHERTen things…1.Tim (Keyboards) often cant make sound checks for Mules gigs as he’s busy being a trainee conductor at The Royal Opera House. 2.Jim (Bass) runs the Organ Grinder Records label and writes and performs with his own band, Fireworks Night3.Duncan (Guitar) is completing a surrealist film called ‘The Tragedy of Albert’ for which Tim (see above) has written the score.

4.Whilst on their UK tour, The Mules were recognized by two separate people in Wigan.

5.Nico (Fiddle) is distantly related to composer Kurt Weil.

6.Ed (Drummer/singer) writes a new song every week and puts them on his myspace site to download for free (myspace.com/edmules)

7.‘Polly O’ was partly inspired by the traditional song ‘By The Banks of Green River’. Parts of the Polly O video were filmed in Gatwick Airport Holiday Inn.

8.The song ‘O Grandfather’ is a live recording from St Luke’s Parish Church, Kingston.

9. Whilst on their UK tour, they hung out with John from !!! drinking tequila. He was a bad influence.

10.Its been rumored that The Mules are playing a London tour at the end of May taking in such venues as Koko, The Astoria and The Windmill. These rumors are T R U E The Mules
