Following a Top 10 single, a Top 3 debut album (now certified gold) and a celebratory performance headlining the John Peel Stage at this year’s Glastonbury, The Twang release a new single, ‘Two Lovers’, on August 27th.The Twang have lit up 2007 with a meteoric rise to public prominence following an A&R scramble to secure their signatures at the close of 2006. The five lads from Birmingham have made good on that hype with a schedule of hectic touring, increasingly successful releases and a burgeoning fan-base that sees the band play their largest ever venues on the forthcoming October tour. They have taken this rise in their stride, working with band hero Mike Skinner on a highly praised version of previous hit single ‘Either Way’, supported another band favourite James, and set to make their first trip to Japan alongside two sold out UK tours.‘Two Lovers’ is rightly regarded as one of the standout tracks on debut album ‘Love It When I Feel Like This’ with NME proclaiming witness (singer Phil) Etheridge’s dewy vocal and experience your spine shake of this excellent, jangly, Smiths style ballad. The single is released on two CDs and 7, each format featuring previously unavailable tracks and exclusive versions as follows

CD1 ‘Two Lovers’ / ‘Sayin’ Nothing’ CD2 ‘Two Lovers’ / ‘I’ll Upset You’ / ‘Two Lovers’ (Mint Royale mix) / ‘Two Lovers’ video 7” ‘Two Lovers’ / ‘Reap What You Sow’ (Acoustic version)
