50 Cent lands TV role

50 Cent has landed a new role in an upcoming crime series.

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, will play a successful hip-hop mogel trying to track down a man who killed his friend in US TV show The Finder.

50's episode, which will guest star David Boreanaz will air in February according to TVLine.com.

The series regulars include The Green Mile's Michael Clarke Duncan and Wedding Crashers comic Geoff Stults.
